By submitting a manuscript to The Indonesian Journal of Gender Justice and Family Law (InGeFaL), the author(s) are deemed to accept the following terms and conditions governing copyright, publication rights, and permitted reuse.

Retention of Copyright and Right of First Publication

Authors retain full copyright in their work while granting InGeFaL the right of first publication. Upon publication, the work is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). This licensing arrangement permits third parties to share and adapt the material, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and that initial publication in InGeFaL is duly acknowledged.

Open Access and Licensing Basis

InGeFaL operates an immediate open access model, premised on the understanding that removing access barriers strengthens the global exchange of knowledge. Accordingly, all open access articles are made available immediately and permanently, free of charge, for reading and downloading. The journal continues to engage with its author community in relation to licensing options; at present, the applicable licensing framework is the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Non-Exclusive Distribution and Additional Agreements

Authors may enter into separate and additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work—such as deposit in an institutional repository or republication within an edited volume—on the condition that the article’s initial publication in InGeFaL is clearly acknowledged.

Online Posting, Dissemination, and Scholarly Visibility

Authors are permitted, and actively encouraged, to post their work online (for example, via institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms) both prior to submission and throughout the review process. Such dissemination may facilitate constructive scholarly engagement and may contribute to earlier visibility and increased citation of the published article.
