Copyright and License

By submitting a manuscript to The Indonesian Journal of Corruption and Criminal Justice (IJCCJ), the author(s) are deemed to accept the terms set out below, which govern copyright ownership, publication rights, and permissible forms of reuse.

Copyright Retention and Right of First Publication

Authors retain full copyright in their work while granting IJCCJ the right of first publication. Upon publication, the article is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). This licensing arrangement authorises third parties to share and adapt the material for lawful purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and that the work’s initial publication in IJCCJ is properly acknowledged.

Open Access Policy and Licensing Basis

IJCCJ operates an immediate open access model, grounded in the view that removing barriers to access strengthens the international exchange and circulation of knowledge. Accordingly, all open access articles are made available immediately and on a permanent basis, free of charge, for reading and downloading. The journal continues to engage with its author community regarding licensing options. At present, the applicable licensing framework is CC BY-SA 4.0.

Non-Exclusive Distribution and Supplementary Agreements

Authors may enter into separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work, such as deposit in an institutional repository or republication in an edited volume on the condition that IJCCJ is clearly identified as the site of first publication.

Online Posting, Scholarly Dissemination, and Visibility

Authors are permitted, and actively encouraged, to make their work available online (for example, through institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms) both prior to submission and during the review process. Such dissemination may foster constructive scholarly engagement, facilitate earlier visibility, and increase the likelihood of citation following publication.
